Arsenal are plotting moves to bolster their forward line as the transfer market enters its closing stages.
The north London club have been suggested as potential suitors for Juventus attacking midfielder Kenan Yildiz.
Italian champions Juventus have apparently communicated that Yildiz will not be sold during the current transfer period, despite Arsenal’s apparent interest.
The England international is on Arsenal’s list of potential targets, alongside Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez.
Atletico have reportedly quoted a fee exceeding £100m for the Argentina forward, after turning down a £130m proposal from Real Madrid earlier this summer.
Alvarez possesses a buyout clause valued at approximately £420m, with the Madrid club insisting that figure must be met for any transfer to proceed.
Such a valuation appears beyond Arsenal’s reach, prompting them to explore other options, though they may return should Atletico reduce their demands.
Barcelona had also expressed interest in the former Manchester City striker, yet Atletico’s inflexible stance has compelled them to seek alternatives elsewhere.
Yildiz is among the players Arsenal are believed to be monitoring as they aim to reinforce Mikel Arteta’s squad for their Premier League title defence.
Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that Juventus view the midfielder as indispensable, mirroring Atletico’s position regarding Alvarez.
Arteta has declared the club’s intention to recruit players capable of making Arsenal the world’s greatest side. Addressing Sky Sports, he stated that becoming the premier club globally represents the ambition of the organisation and its owners.
Achieving this requires top-class facilities, a world-class stadium, exceptional supporters, a elite squad and the finest players available, as those elements determine success on the pitch and can prove decisive in crucial moments.
The goal involves building around current squad members while also identifying new signings who can provide the required quality for Arsenal.

Liverpool and Chelsea have also registered interest in the 21-year-old, with Real Madrid having monitored the situation in recent months.
Former Madrid manager Xabi Alonso is said to have been extremely eager to sign Yildiz during his tenure at the Bernabeu, although the Spanish club’s pursuit has cooled following his departure.
Reports suggest Alonso has since inquired about the feasibility of securing Yildiz this summer.
